Suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Brain Fog, Gastrointestinal Issues, Cold Intolerance, and Joint Swelling

Treating physical and emotional health issues using a wholistic approach at KanodiaMD

Amy was suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, brain fog and confusion, gastrointestinal issues, cold intolerance, and joint swelling. She was also struggling with symptoms of Bell’s Palsy when she sought help at KanodiaMD. Prior to seeing Dr. Kanodia, she had sought help from an endocrinologist, obstetrics and gynecology specialist, and family doctor.

In August 2021 she started to see Dr. Kanodia and his team. “Within the first appointment I knew he could help me with my physical and emotional health issues. Dr. Kanodia’s approach is different and he is the first doctor who validated that my physical and emotional issues are interconnected,” Amy stated. “In conventional medicine, they don’t identify those connections,” she added.

Amy remarked with enthusiasm, “Dr. Kanodia set up laboratory tests and conducted a thorough exam. I was able to connect with their dietician and health coach, who helped to address my nutritional deficiencies. He discussed about the importance of water and hydration in a way that made sense to me.” Amy was prescribed thyroid medications to address her cold intolerance challenges. She is now able to withstand cold weather without extreme discomfort. Her overall nutrition and water intake has also  taken a turn for the better. As a result, she pays attention to what she consumes which has caused her gut health to improve. She has a lot more energy and isn’t exhausted all the time.

Amy has seen a positive improvement in her emotional health. She has learned different modalities to manage negative feelings and appreciates learning about the approaches that the KanodiaMD team recommends. “I can feel the transformation and I love it,” Amy exclaimed.

“I most appreciate Dr. Kanodia and his team for their emphasis on determining the root cause of an illness, instead of providing a short-term solution. Their team also does a great job of providing ways to prevent a disease rather than just waiting for an ailment to occur,” said Amy.
